London babeh!
I can’t believe this! I’m posting this entry from 220 Finchley Road, London NW3 6DH.
Yes I’m in London now! Go google!
I had to apologize for keeping my mouth sealed all this time. Even with the tickets confirmed, I was barely able to put my nervousness at ease. I kept thinking: what if at the very last minute I can’t go?
So now you know why I said I really had no budget to buy a new hand phone. I was saving up in order not to confiscate the-not-so-much saving I had. Or at least the damages are under control. Whatever.
Oh, I’m extremely grateful especially to Chenta who has been really supportive towards all this. Menahan gelak dengan senyum kambing mengkantoikan daku berangan dgn jacket and all depan cermin adalah so very cool darling!. Can’t thank you enough for helping me plan the itineraries and the new point-and-shoot. But the top of all is, his firm assurance that Iman will be ok without me. It really lessens the heartache and guilt in my heart. Ya Puan-puan, I’m traveling with my SIL. For 16 days I’ll be totally ignoring responsibilities and deep office issues. Chenta denied his desire to revisit London only to give way to me for he is also saving up to you-never-know-where-and-when trip. Hopefully with him around, Iman won’t be that confused. Mummy love you very much baby!. My heart ache already. Urgghhh…..
And to Chenta : papa, jangan papa jahat, jangan papa nakal sangat……hah!
Again, I had to apologize in advance because I can’t guarantee there will be much of souvenirs as my budget are very limited. But if there's anything you would like to purchase here, please just let me know. I'd be more than happy to help. Just remember the ongkosnya ya ibu-ibu, bapak-bapak….hehehe. but then, kalau beg akak tak muat.....nak wat guano kan..hahahaha
Well, here I am. London babeh!. Wooohooooooo. (ampunkan kejakunan ku itu, and ready for more! hehehe)
my 1st chicken doner kebab katanya kepada En. Nitzus
tanpa membuang masa, lepas lunch torus ke bond street

Itu Rambut.
You know how lebat-yet-nipis iman’s hairs are. When the bob seems more like a mop, obviously it’s time for another haircut. Ditambah pula makcik pakcik yg constantly complaining eh mcm girl la…. Panjangnya rambut…. Bla..bla…
Frankly I don’t mind the mop or gegirl or whatever people might call it. I love his long hair. Tapi, when Hj. Setam said “ish…panjang betul rambut Iman ni…” that’s it. CUT.
My father : you will never see his hair longer than ½ inches! Never! All the cucus jantan before Iman never had long hair. Crewcut only, just like Atuk, not until they start schooling. He’ll make sure if the bapak didn’t do it, he will took the cucus to the barber himself. But being the youngest cucu, from the youngest daughter, Iman always had an exceptional. Atuk will just say ‘macam anak mat salleh…’ . The above statement has shown his limit.
After been told and reading like zillion times, at last Abah agreed to try this saloon called Cheeky Monkey. I love the saloon. Good concept with creative decorations, sports car chair, LCD TVs, small activity table for drawing, cutting and coloring. Iman loves it too. In fact he loves it too much that he forgot the main reason we were there. He cried and force his way around. I think he didn’t get the idea why the Abang kept kacau him playing. The barber sure had a hard time with him.
Even though it’s a great place, I think Iman got confused. It’s more like a play area or playground to him. Unlike previous trip to the real saloon and mamak, he behaved very well.
It was Chenta’s idea to try ‘boy cut’. Ye la anak jantan dia being called gegirl kan, remember? I was so devastated with the result. I told chenta : Yang, no more boy cut or what ever cut after this. Iman will have his bob, until the day he start schooling. Hah!

Jalan-jalan Padang Temerloh
Siapa : Family sebelah Abah
Ada apa: Hantar pengantin!
We had never been to Padang Piol let alone Kampung Pasir Sia. So we were very excited!
From KL we stopped at Kerdau (my biras’s parent’s house, Tok Ki and Tok Wan) and were served with delicious breakfast. We had nasi dagang, nasi kerabu, nasi goreng, kerabu pucuk labu, dodol kukus and pisang goreng. Although we already had our breakfast earlier, we finished almost everything on the table!.
Then followed by the silat pencak. Its been ages since I last saw silat pencak like this. In my kampong, silat pengantin usually very lembut and berbunga-bunga. But here at Padang Piol they showed us the real silat.
agak handsome adik pesilat ini.
Iman was so thrilled that he actually stand still (rhyme la pulak..heheh) and ternganga-nganga mulutnya.
I was thinking that we will be seated kat khemah, instead, we were lead into the house. Ah…this is how people did it dolu-dolu
rombongan cik kiah naik rumah
Then upon seeing what have been prepared for us….i was speechless! I cuit Chenta and he just said.. I know…I know…best giler!..hehehehe. It was like being in 70s! what I saw in my sister’s wedding pictures are now terbentang depan mata! I love the safrah…the deco of the food, the sirap…the desserts…..soooooooo 70sss!
Feast your eyes people!
The food was seriously marvelous! Mangkuk Patin tidak berbekas!. Gulai lemak kerbau sungguh wallah! Maka ayam golek tinggal tergolek sbb lauk kampong hebat sangat!!!
kekenyangan, Iman then bergoyang pinggul di laman.
dan dapat jek paper bag berkat teruss menonong nak balik!.
tapi lihat dulu cik kiah yang tersenyum gumbira dengan 'berkat' mangkuk tingkat saiz XL. mak jalan dulu tu......
Padang Piol definitely rock!

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
This poignant story revolves around family, love, friendship, history, betrayal and subsequent redemption. It is painfully honest story; it grips and rips your heart into pieces. I cried. In fact I cried few times.
Hosseini tells story like no other debut authors.
I so love the killer phrase “a thousand times over”. Sungguh berhantu!
Oh I found this while googling around. Even terjemahan pon sungguh sedap dibaca! Enjoy!
Tiba-tiba aku mendengar bisikan Hassan dikepalaku: Untukmu, keseribu kalinya. Hassan, si pengejar layang-layang berbibir sumbing.

Pergghhh….segeralah dapatkan dipasaran.
