Main masak-masak - Banana Nut Bread


you need :

  • 2-3 ripe medium size bananas
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs ~ beaten
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 2/3 cup castor sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnut
direction :

1. Mix well the dry ingredients except walnuts.
2. Mash the banana and add in melted butter and vanilla essence.
3. Add in the beaten eggs and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into the dry ingredients and stir till well incorporated.
5. Pour the batter into a greased baking tray.
6. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 C for 40 - 45 minutes.
7. When baked, leave the cake in the tin for 10 minutes before removing it to the wire rack to cool.
