Jalan-jalan (malas pergi kerja) Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest

when : 24 Mac 2011
who : dell, ezi, musa, nitzus, choi, cheetah, is , khai, petu, roger, azhan, apiz, dd, aze'

very much awaited rendezvous by many as we had few jambus joining this time *clapping hand happily*. At 8:15 am in a promising beautiful day ahead, everyone was in a high spirit because Dell managed to come on time, some personal joke, but yeah his gps might lead him anywhere but jln duta:)

@parking
Administered by the Malacca state government? I know, confuse kan?

The entrance to the hill is just next to ilham resort. From there, we walked along a winding gravel road through the jungle, right up to the lighthouse. Perghh semput juga lah.

tgk gaya pon tau.. pancit!

Trekking in 3”pump wedges, beat that!

nitzus capturing us.

After a cigarette stop, we continued climbing (steps) to the peak. Spotted a group of bird wathers with huge lenses, counting saki baki of raptors on their annual migratory routes. Most of em migrated just last weekend, with may@ k@rin reportedly watching at the very same spot at where we stand. There in front of us, the amazing view of the Straits of Malacca with a subtle outline of neighboring Sumatra.

From the lighthouse we follow the steep and uneven steps leading down to the beach.

model harus jalan depan.. kasi bakar semangat.

Descending was easy, it took us about 15min only (with few stops for photo session) to get to the beach.
us all.

The beach, ahhh THE BEACH: not another human in sight; just us, the sun, the sea, the wind and the sand, mesmerizing! It’s like a small stretch of a secret beach, untouched by inhabitant.

claiming

The only man who helplessly fall for the inviting sea, the rest simply macho tak mo spender basah *lol*

Us on beautiful rocky outcrops

my fingers look weirdly long:(

Around 12:45 when the stomach growled louder than the waves we ascended to the lighthouse. Boy, this time it was hard. My heart pumped real fast it felt like bursting anytime. This is probably only 0.005% of Mount Kinabalu but age must take its toll on me. I literally had to drag my feet and just climb the steps without thinking.

dell dgn gaya hebatnya.

Trekking down, back to car park was nothing, and everybody back to their jovial self hah!. Spotted cute sticker on a truck belongs to the bird watchers “Bird Comes First”. Nak amek gambar tapi birds opis bagi jelingan maut *lol*.

love this pic and i think you know why..hehehhehe

Lunch was fun; I chip in a bit considered as my pre birthday yo ya.
berebut? hahahha

Till the next rendezvous guys!
