Places visited: Cliftons @ 440 Collins, Elizabeth St, Habour Town, Flinder Station, Federation Square, ACMI, Burke St
Breakfast was good, had the same menu as yesterday. Siap tapau salmon sandwich with fresh fruits. Weather was nice: breezy, we walked to Cliftons (training centre) which is just few blocks away from our hotel. Everybody was in a good mood and eager to meet the teacher. This is actually why we’re here afterall.

Next to our class was a group from Indon. Contrasting from most of us yg dressed casually, they were smart and very corporate looking. Everybody seems very serious and stressed, must be learning something susah tu:).
Our teacher Mr Mike, a very senior personnel in aibeeam looks a tad bit tired: dry riotous hair, wrinkled shirt and khakis and emmm long dirty fingernails. Maafla, saya memang suka memerhati, during the ice breaking session he leaned to my partner’s desk quite often hence the finding.
Obviously, as a developer, storage is not my talent but somehow Mr Mike made it interesting enough that I work hard on the lab work. We yak in Malay about notes given are for different version and doing the lab work remotely connect to server in France is someway banyak tak jadi when suddenly Mr Mike menyampuk! He does understand some Bahasa. Hahahaha, dah la ada kata cikgu comot. Lepas tu kalau nak mengata, terus cakap Klate:)
Cliftons gave us vouchers for lunch and tea break, alas the restaurents listed are not halal. Kak Izan and me makan bekal, buat teh and perabih fruit juices kat pantry then wandering shops along Elizabeth St. We saw people queuing about 50m to the bookstore. Rupanya Mark Webber in da house! Kalau ponteng kelas petang tu boleh la beratur sama hehehhehe. 'Jangan nak ngada'. Itu kata Kak Izan a.k.a pelajar cemerlang Mr Mike. Ye la.. dia jaga storage!.
Oh the other ladies ada yg balik hotel masak maggie, ada yg ke halal rest. cari nasi ,Atai and our Mike ke kedai barangan buat kek, mencari cake pan dan spring foam utk isteri terchenta, hebat kan!.
After class @4:30, balik hotel, solat and 4 of us hopped on a tram to Harbour Town Shopping Center. Sempat masuk few shops sahaja as they’re closing already.
Ye, kedai tutup @6pm!.Royal Doulton’s sale was massive but I’m not a fan in sense of budget hehe. Hanya membeli English tea sahaja:( marked kedai yg akan dituju next visit.
We had dinner @halal Nandos and straight to Icehouse. Bought AUD3 ticket and into the ice rink. Pusing2 and found out that there is a x-mas skate show by Olympic gold medalist from US. Jenguk2 balik tirai, adik jaga pintu kasi masuk. Terus duduk tepi tapi depan skali and clapping and cheering for the good 15 minutes on the finale performance. Teliuk2 badan skater tu, baju lip lap bagai. for AUD3 ticket, it was more than worth it. The actual price for the show dlm 20++ you! Rezeki kami.
Reroute to Flinder St dan bergambaran depan the old Flinder Station.
Sempat juga ke Myers utk melihat the stunning display panel on Nutcrackers sempena nak xmas. You got to brave the extensive queue with school childrens and family with prams diwaktu siang.
Balik hotel, another 2 ladies dah sampai. Sembang2 dibilik and zzzzzz. A relaxing day I must say.

Class resume as usual, lab works became harder, cikgu extra serabai?. I decided not to terjun ke dunia storage ini. It’s just not for me. Lunch provided from halal rest, we had chicken breast on a bed of salad. Tak sedap tapi belasah jugak. Sempat jalan Collins St, I wanted to see The Rialto building and jumpa kedai vegetarian cupcake sangat cantik, so beli dua!
Petang, pulun bagai nak rak siapkan lab work. Class ended late, at nearly 6!. This is only a preliminary class. Next week, 5 of them will continue the hard part. 5 of us dah merdeka. Hahah, ya kelas saya dua hari saja. We were scheduled to fly back on Sunday 5/12/2010 but rezeki kami, aibeeam wrongly informed the travel agent and they booked the flight on Tuesday, 7/12! Best tak? Since the package includes accommodation, 5 of us senyum je la kan. And since my roommate will be roommate-less the whole next week, dengan izin Chenta, saya extend flight balik saing the other 5 on 10/12. Yieeppieee… itu lah ceritanya kelas 2 hari tapi stay sampai 10 hari.
Oh Mr Mike tot I am the youngest and called me 'the baby' *kembang akak*, when told that I'm not (Lin and Atai lagi muda), he said 'may be because you wear pink, errr pale pink' (perasan ada sorang lagi pakai tudung pink). Ahkak soka.. and Atai jeles gila! hahahah
Habis kelas dgn segera ke Harbour Town. Today, shops closed at 9pm. Yippie. Why were we so crazy about this place? Its actually very similar to a factory outlet store, cuma dole out Aussie brand.
They had dinner @CiliPadi first tapi akak terus menonong ke Gerald. Target mahu cari cake stand! By 8.30 semua dah membembit hasil tangkapan. Perghhh.. dasyat diorang shopping. Tapi kami kehampaan kerna Labupatch tidak meniaga hari ini.
Akhirnya sampai kedai tutup baru semua kumpul nak balik!. Naik tram ke Flinder dan lepak tepi Southbank, lalu ke Burke St menjenguk Myers dan Labupatch lagi. Tanpa ragu2 apply for VIP member card and got extra 20% discount. Yieehaaa, im now a VIP member of Labupatch Aussie:)

Balik hotel hati gumbira. Alhamdulillah kelas dah selesai, cake stand dah dapat:) Esok akan lebih gumbira: city tour!!
