Read-gasm

He makes my writing sound so boring, so immature, childish and dreary. I hate him, so much, and that’s only making me more addictive to him. His text is like my own personal brand of heroin. Wallahhhh.. feeling2 robert pattinson gitew. Well, being a good samaritan I am, I share with you my read-gasm site:

enjoy and dont blame me if you feel like stop writing:)

Jalan-jalan (pertama kali) Morib

When : 20 Mac 2011
Occasion : The wedding of Naib Presiden Kelab Bujang Opis

Ever since news of the couple’s engagement spread (cinta satu opis senyap-senyap), terus teringat betapa sedapnya nak makan sambal tempe and when the invitation card finally delivered, I was so happy coz majlis will be on Sunday!. Yeah, Chenta haven’t got his Saturday back yet, so literally, it affects me too. Anyway, I love the idea of highlighting interesting places in the map to the groom’s house. It basically gave us idea sampingan where to explore siap ada jarak berapa km dr rumah pengantin!.Dlm map ada, Ladang Gadong*lol*, Morib, Rumah Hj.Sidek, tidak ketinggalan Kilang Kerepek dll. Me likey!

depan rumah pengantin
With helps from trusted GPS apps, sampai Kg Batu, Kuala Langat around 12:30 just in time pantin sedang bersanding diiringi lagu selamat pengantin baru from the live band.
Chenta : Boleh tahan la singer ni.
Me : Ni baru 2nd singer, belum kapla dia lagi..
Chenta : Huh? Sapa?
Me : Tu, yang tengah bersanding:)

moga berbahagia...

Ya, the groom itu penyanyi opis?.

Iman refused to balik as he was enjoying main parit with other kids. Habis kayu-kayu, batu, rumput di campak ke dalam parit. Terpaksa bribe dgn ipad.

parit dalam tuuu...hak ni mmg nak kena...

On the way back (you shd know we didn’t plan to singgah anywhere as it was Sunday, tempat kejadian is +-2hrs driving) looking at the map casually, I tried my luck

‘eh, morib ni dekat je derr, 6 km’
‘ye la..jomlaaa’ h.a.p.p.y, I tried another
‘singgah Ladang Gadong nak?’
‘lepas tu rumah Misbun nak singgah jugak?’

Heheh I guess you know the upshot from his statement so, Morib sahaja okehhh.

pose manja dapat jagung..

Morib as I saw it on that day is a total apposite from what I’ve heard about it before. It’s like seeing Brickfields after the face lift. Have you seen the new Brickfields? You should. When we did last time, we actually made 2 rounds to soak up the changes and felt confuse, were we in India?. Well Morib didn’t give the same impact (no I didn’t feel like I was in StKilda?) but I literally stunned by the whole commons. It’s nicely planned and everything seems go with each other well. My

Need not go to the muddy beach to play kite. both teruja, their first time flying kite.

We sat at the shell-shape thingy managing the kite while Iman enjoying running around the green patch. On the right corner is Surau and toilets are far on the other corner. Love the idea as Surau bersih dari lecak or filthy smells from it, of course now toilet bersih and all but you never know what could possibly happened to those toilets kan, knowing malaysian.

We stayed for almost 2 hours. Balik ikut jalan lain tub tub, kat traffic light, I nampak a huge bulu tangkis. Eh, orang sini mmg bangga betul dgn badminton ni kan. Then Chenta sergah said nampak tu signboard rumah Hj Sidek.. laaaaaa I am a worse navigator… *lol*

ya, inilah rumah juara-juara iteww...

Jalan-jalan (malas pergi kerja) Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest

when : 24 Mac 2011
who : dell, ezi, musa, nitzus, choi, cheetah, is , khai, petu, roger, azhan, apiz, dd, aze'

very much awaited rendezvous by many as we had few jambus joining this time *clapping hand happily*. At 8:15 am in a promising beautiful day ahead, everyone was in a high spirit because Dell managed to come on time, some personal joke, but yeah his gps might lead him anywhere but jln duta:)

@parking
Administered by the Malacca state government? I know, confuse kan?

The entrance to the hill is just next to ilham resort. From there, we walked along a winding gravel road through the jungle, right up to the lighthouse. Perghh semput juga lah.

tgk gaya pon tau.. pancit!

Trekking in 3”pump wedges, beat that!

nitzus capturing us.

After a cigarette stop, we continued climbing (steps) to the peak. Spotted a group of bird wathers with huge lenses, counting saki baki of raptors on their annual migratory routes. Most of em migrated just last weekend, with may@ k@rin reportedly watching at the very same spot at where we stand. There in front of us, the amazing view of the Straits of Malacca with a subtle outline of neighboring Sumatra.

From the lighthouse we follow the steep and uneven steps leading down to the beach.

model harus jalan depan.. kasi bakar semangat.

Descending was easy, it took us about 15min only (with few stops for photo session) to get to the beach.
us all.

The beach, ahhh THE BEACH: not another human in sight; just us, the sun, the sea, the wind and the sand, mesmerizing! It’s like a small stretch of a secret beach, untouched by inhabitant.

claiming

The only man who helplessly fall for the inviting sea, the rest simply macho tak mo spender basah *lol*

Us on beautiful rocky outcrops

my fingers look weirdly long:(

perasan muda

pose wajib

Around 12:45 when the stomach growled louder than the waves we ascended to the lighthouse. Boy, this time it was hard. My heart pumped real fast it felt like bursting anytime. This is probably only 0.005% of Mount Kinabalu but age must take its toll on me. I literally had to drag my feet and just climb the steps without thinking.

dell dgn gaya hebatnya.

Trekking down, back to car park was nothing, and everybody back to their jovial self hah!. Spotted cute sticker on a truck belongs to the bird watchers “Bird Comes First”. Nak amek gambar tapi birds opis bagi jelingan maut *lol*.

love this pic and i think you know why..hehehhehe

Lunch was fun; I chip in a bit considered as my pre birthday yo ya.
berebut? hahahha

Till the next rendezvous guys!

Rakus ZEN

When : 15/2/2011

The craving for real Jap’s food is never ended. We had tried many, from kedai kecil-kecilan like sushi raja, zanmai etc to some bountiful buffet: sasaki @uoa tower, tenji @solaris, kampachi @bangi and few yg dah tutup.

Ya, kali ini mari ke rakuzen @plaza damas.

It was considered our 7th anni celebration, hehehe ya, we are pretty much a simple family, special occasions can be celebrated anytime, pre, post, tara kesah. Kekadang sampai tak celebrate dowh!

Ok the starter was grilled pregnant fish, that’s what we call em. You can’t get wrong with this simple dish, just that here, the fish was a little bit bigger, thus juicier and much more roe…?

Then my favorite salmon!. *oh, I’m salivating now*. We ordered salmon set accompanied by miso soup, cawan mushi and rice. My little boy ate 3/4 of the salmon! Truthfully, I didn’t remember when he started eating raw fish but I got a strong feeling that he is quite advance in this department. I nearly ordered the second serving till the main course arrived. More salmon yo! And I got to eat most of em and am h.a.p.p.y!

selamba tak perlu kicap or wasabe:)

feast

happy!!

green tea ice cream with red bean paste me no likey.

the aftermath

RakusZen is a contemporary kinda Jap rest with a touch of traditional architecture, especially their bamboo-like woven wall that brings a penchant of coziness. The foods are rich in color and the price pretty reasonable too. Highly recommended. There will definitely be a return visit.

Jalan-jalan Negeri Hang Kasuri

When : a week after CNY
Occasion : Hoya-hoya Chenta habis exam

The original plan was to explore Penang.. emm *dalam hati why? why? why?* Tub2 Iman ada Val's Day and CNY celebration on Monday, so plan changed, off to Melaka we went. Started the day having breakfast like a king @ our fav rest near to home.

true Johorean menu : Soto extra pedas, mee rebus, sambal goreng, fried fish for Iman:)

The first stop was The Botanical Garden simply because Chenta want to ride that thing. I was with Iman and he got to ride sesorang. At first Iman went ahhh ohhh wow bestnya, but at the end of the journey (keliling hutan) he was all bored and started to doze off! I had to drive real slow.

Then around lunch time, we headed to Bukit Cina, i was skeptical: Bukit Cina? nak makan apa, kubur ada la? He said, hey got nice cendol and rojak there. Little that i know we will be eating and slurping with the deads!.

kid you not, the rock just inches behind me is actually a tomb!

tak percaya? sebelah amoi tu pon kubur!

in a hot scorching day the cendol and rojak are to die for! kalau Chenta senyum tu, sedap la tu!:)

Later we pusing-pusing cari hotel, ya no booking were made so we kinda redah saja. After few attempts, we managed to get a room @ newly opened Holiday Inn. For the rate we paid (no seaview), the room was so-so, but i love the welcome fruits in the cocktail glass, classy!

and of course WE LOVE the infinity pool facing The Straits of Melacca:)

I have to confess here, I've been to Melacca countless times but the funny thing is never been to Jonker St, so as Chenta! So dgn gagahnya kami meredah Jonker St di malam minggu! Perghh manusia punya ramai!. Opps gambar tiada, tak de bukti tapi seriously ramai. Tak tahan, we decided to layan cruise saja. Boy.. minus the smell, it was 45min of FUN!. eh, sapa yang bayar bill elektrik rumah2 tepi sungai ni? every house had many spotlights it was terang benderang like malam raya only better!.

If you ever feeling2 or wondering how Venice is, be here, at night. Walk along the path-walk built along the river, breath in the lights, the ambiances and just be romantic. Tapi kalau siang I tak guarantee tau.:). Lapar, off to Portuguese Settlement and had a seafood feast.

Some of 'em.

The next morning, we had bf early as Iman will have another round splashing in tho pool. The bf spread was so-so. But ada few young handsome mat salleh waitressing, despite that, the others called them boss. Ropanya manager in training. Berseri lah pagi akak....:)

Iman pon berseri juga, sarapan dgn bayu laut.

After checkout, ke Jonker St again, mencari cendol durian, terpusing-pusing mencari kedai, ternampak kubur Hang Kasturi, hence the tajuk. Akhirnya jumpa ;

cendol kedai no apa yek, 68? 88? entahler..
rasanya guna santan kotak ni....

Iman sempat layan mr moooooo....

Panas betul cuaca hari itu, kepenatan kami gerak balik kajang, dapat panggilan hangit minta kami ke KL ada patin raub menunggu... cargasssssss...

p/s: all pics are from my phone. yg canthek2 dr official camera tak jumpa, kalau ada will updae later in fb.
