Remember this? Yes, same suspects, same agendas, same place visited + new addition: LBN! Yeay!. Anyway, I don’t know if you noticed, but I am sorta doing accounting job here. Weird huh?. Well, does any of you don’t know that I hate accountancy? I hate it so much that I got 5 for Perdagangan, well, my teacher’s prediction was plain ‘failed’ as she said it right to my face during one of her off-putting class. During matriculation days, Cikgu Mat excluded me from any theory test with his sinister quote ‘Idahroyani relaks, jangan gabra, saya TAK kan soal’. While girl friends kept pestering me to study, Addie - my life saver will passed his answer sheets to me when finished. Cool eh?. And when times to chose degree course, I simply wrote 1.IT 2.IT 3.Business *smirk*.

My work, at the beginning involved simple debit credit that’s all. But as time goes by, I hear jargons like bank statement, GL, TB , CR more than URS or DDS or.. oh you know it. And sedar-sedar I’m in the middle of a meeting discussing interbank transaction, daily collection report and all *slap face*. Yes, im still struggling to understand this old enemy of mine, been blarneying my heart to love it, and convincing my head that it will be easy *sigh*.

Ok, enough said, just put aside the boring agendas and enjoy the fun part of the trip.

We managed to visit Sarikin on the last day. Serikin sells just about everything and most of the products come from Kalimantan. People said the sun is directly overhead much earlier here than anywhere else in Sarawak. I totally believe it, felt so hot even though we arrived quite early. Pls don’t haggling over the price if you don’t really want to buy because it annoys the traders. My colleagues kena harass with scary words for doing so.

Agenda: Iman’s classmate 5^th Bollywood Extravaganza Bithday Party

One late afternoon, Iman gave me a CD of SRK and Priyanka (from what movie I have no idea) saying ‘Ayesha give me this CD, I want to watch’. Well I was not surprised as kids from SReader love to share things. Other than food (sweets, chocolate you name it) and stationeries, he also received stickers, cards, toys and even getah rambut (errkk). During my time, I did the same, but in those days I could only afford to share getah tempe, crafted perfumed soap (hasil kerastangan kelas lukisan) and handmade cards but only to girls la *senyum…*. Anyway, I just shoo him away: no-movie-during-weekday rule he himself known about.

The CD been neglected for few days till suddenly I felt the urge to watch it. It is actually an invitation to a birthday party that needs RSVP. The short video shows the birthday girl in beautiful sari walking gracefully on the red carpet waving to the hysterical fans like a real Bollywood star. Upon seeing the whole movie, the venue, the theme, oh no.. ni kalau Gebus tak join, later the kids sembang kat school sure dia sedih. I rsvped and instantly got reply from the mom saying ‘looking forward to see him’. Now mak fenin, what will my son wear and most importantly what should I get for the present? Chenta pesan ‘buy something nice..’

K.Ija was kind enough to lend Irfan’s concert costume, hehehe yes im being cheapo here. On the day itself I ran through few shops @1U looking for something nice and settled for 2 super girly bonita headbands on sale (buy 1 free 1). We reached quite early (on purpose as I don’t want to be seen) I thought I just drop Iman there and will pick him up at 6 (as stated in the cd). The daddy greeted me and insist me to STAY!. He said all parents will be joining the party!. Nooooo, I was wearing jeans and blouse and old scarf, so not bollywood!. Aduss… then one lady greeted me, politely asking me to put the present on the table di sana. I turned and rasa nak fitam…

Mazmin (Ayesha's mom) made an effort to talk to everybody in the party. Oh saya segan sangat... but we end up borak about school, how we never meet up before at school, or during concert/sports day and all. And it felt good to actually can say thank you and sorry for not dressing up for the party to the host myself.

I thought it would be an easy cycling, but boy… ahkak dah tua dek non…pancit!. hinsh..hinsh… Dulu, bukit 45% tertonggek-tonggek kayuh konon tak mo tolak, tak gitu Cikgu Elina?. At the age of 36 I figured that pushing your bike is faster and less tiring than wasting those energies cycling up the hill on ~~lower~~ upper gear. But then again, the pushing only last about 10m or so. Blame the bag, yeah must be the bag. So I passed the battle to somebody else:).

Ok, minus those uphill combats, the rest of the deals were awesome! Thrilling super fast ride downhill, steep cornering, cycling in the rain, hands off the handle bar… ahhh…felt like a ~~kid~~ teen again! Agak-agak geng NBC buat reunion kat sini ok tak?

Major love was visiting Sg Baru Dam. It was originally functioned as a reservoir for Shah Alam residents. I didn’t see any kayak or Jet Ski so maybe waters sport are no no here. They had many fish cages merely meant for promoting recreational fishing activities or r&d la kot. We stayed here long enough pleasuring our lung breathing deep the damp cool revitalizing air and let our eyes feast the tranquil green of the forest. Ahhh…..nyaman sekalik!

Life is strange sometimes. It loves to play tricks on us. Or is it just me? I don’t know what’s gotten into me past few months, but to say I lost my mojo to blog is an understatement!. Blogging is always a mind therapy to me; it somehow calms and opens my wits. To successfully put whatever ideas/thought I had into proper words is indescribable! It’s like drinking allberry bang smoothies from boost! Ok the point is.. I lost them all, the needs, the feeling, the excitements, in HERE.

The truth is, I found a new medium that allows me to be 100% me. Been talking to this note book since the date written.

Lihat, raya datang lagi. Sangat hampir. Meninggalkan Ramadhan yang tahun ini dirasa begitu singkat. Dalam sibuk dan buat-buat sibuk lagi, tahu-tahu semalam kami saling bersalaman dan bermaafan di office.

Tahun ini, tahun pertama Gebus menulis sendiri kad rayanya. Untuk sahabat yang telah berpindah ke Trg. Selalu nama dua beradik itu disebut. Saya hanya buat collage dari gambar-gambar mereka, print dan kemudian laminate. Saya kirimkan bersama frame gambar. Gebus tidak sudah-sudah menyebut perkataan yang ditulisnya itu. Rindu betul dia.

Juga, pertama kali mendapat kad raya dari sahabatnya di SR. Saya tidak diberitahu, Gebus berbisik-bisik dengan Abah, ada secret katanya. Ahh, kad raya Tom&Jerry. Senyum-senyum malu pula bila saya minta untuk melihat. Saya sangka anak-anak sekarang sudah tidak kenal kad raya. Saya silap.

Mungkin satu hari nanti, jika Gebus membaca cerita ini, dia akan tersenyum. Saya harap dia akan tersenyum. Apa kenangan kamu Ramadhan ini?

Truthfully, I was called in just because of the iPad. Well I won’t just handed it to them and sit in the office worrying what might happened to it right? Emm firstly it is not mine, so the owner will only said ok if I’m present while it is being used (you know him right?). I then was ask to help the actress with her wardrobe, eleh..saja la tu kan.

Neway, the trip was super duper fun! Nyaris being denied to enter the park as some part of the boardwalk was badly damaged (it was made out of poor efforts and materials anyway), then after reassurance that we will not claiming anything if anything bad happened and sorts, they let us in.

The shooting part itself was cool. Well, ahkak just make sure the gadget works its wonder, thanks to max*s 3g services, albeit very slow, the company website successfully downloaded. Then ahkak just sit there enjoying the wind and the view. Perghhh.. for a seconds I think I wanted to switch profession:).

Then Tuan Produser belanja seafood lunch at Nitzus’s fav eating place, where I strongly believe he secretly befriends with all the workers there. Our orders came in split seconds! Like they already know what we’re going to order and cooked it beforehand. No one bother to take picture of the foods, we dig and dig and burrppp.

Where did our ancestor get it? The simpulan bahasa. Didn’t they know what will happen when you guzzle water while diving? You’ll be drawn man!. It should be sambil menyelam buat peace sign ker, sambil menyelam kentut (nanti bubble naik ke permukaan air, cute isn’t it) or kalau tidak tahu berenang jangan menyelam, habis cerita.

Anyway, we went to Ipoh not recently (June dowh). The main agenda was to send Aniq (Gebus’s cousin yg lebih gebu dari Gebus) to his miserabless: ST*R Ipoh heheheh. Eh, for a school that old and famous, my kekonon appreciate architecture eyes found the buildings surprisingly too unadorned and mind-numbing. Maaf Starians, itu kata mata saya. Saya tahu isinya yang lebih utama. But, I so love the covered and cemented ampaian, genius!

Before that, we had lunch @ legendary Nasi Kandar Ayam Goreng Merah aka Nasi Kandar Ganja Ipoh

Nearly gave up the looong queue till we saw Cikgu LindaJ enjoying her kandaq at the front row table looking so poised, hot and sexy wearing a black spaghetti strap with beautiful lace that somehow managed to cover a bit of her cleavage. Dem lace!. I totally understand her, Ipoh was so hot on that day!.

So, the kandaq was excellent and most importantly cheap. We had standard menu suggested by the waiter: Nasi + ayam goreng merah + ½ telur masin + timun +kuah2 kari + samba + drink.

Those, for 8 of us, cost only 55++. Cheap isn’t it?

We then rinse out the curry aftertaste with the smoothest soya in town, it’s Funny Mountain yo!.

Seterusnya, hit the highway to Kuala Sepetang!. I’ve heard and read and what not about this reputably famous mee udang and been teringin sesangat. Hati kembang kuncup all the way. I thought there will be like at least a dozen of restaurants but nope, only three (3) spotted. Mak Teh, Kak Jah and Pak Salleh, itu sahaja. They really conquer the market!.

Being Chenta, he abruptly turned and masuk this seems like abandoned old factory. Ah, charcoal!. Agenda makan ditangguh kerna beliau ingin melawat kilang ini. Potong betul la!. He secretly browsed about this factory during lunch. Maka sesi lawatan sambil belajar bermula.

We live 25km from downtown KL. Travelling to work on daily basis can sometimes felt so droning, boring and tiresome especially in the evening when it seems like every road, highway or toll is jammed!. In a happy day, talking to each other was good enough to channel our anger (sebab jam) away. But in a gloomy day, to avoid staring pointlessly on the road or just being irritated and started cursing other drivers, we played games. Oh, when 3 of us in the car, we seldom turn the radio on.

Last Tuesday, August 10, 2011, was general knowledge quiz. We ask Gebus few questions like what is the color of our flag, name vegetables that you know, which one is a healthy food, what shape is our world, what is Atuk in English, then what is your grandpa’s name and sorts.

Suddenly he said: Ok my turn.

He asked us questions, 11 in total. Some that amuse us lot:

World is round, tapi jalan tegak. *huh?. Long explaination*

Kereta di jalan, matahari di atas. Yang mana duduk di angkasa? *huh?*

Yang mana lebih besar , Lori ke bas? *so confuse to answer, atas jalan ada lori kecik, lori trailer, bas skolah pendek, bas express dua tingkat*

Yang mana satu burung? Burung Hantu ke Rama-rama? *rotf*

Question No 11, Ok yang ni soalan paling susah sekali tau. Fikir dulu sebelum jawab (tu dia siap warning)

Yang mana lebih besar, Ipad ke iphone?. *rotf 5X, he actually meant which one is better in terms of apps and tgk movie *

Oh im so gonna miss this. I foresee travelling to Cyberjaya will be lonesome and perhaps I can work on my vocal then.

Pertama kali aku betul-betul perasan dia dalam drama 100 harijadi. Betul-betul di sini bermakna aku betul-betul melihat dengan mata dan mungkin juga hati. Aku perhati mata dia, senyum dia, rambut dia, jalan dia, lalu aku label dia. Kamu tidak perlu tahu, itu rahsia aku. Dan di akhir drama, aku tunggu lagi. Aku mahu tahu nama dia. Ahh… aku senyum. Aku tahu aku akan suka. Ya, aku selalu berfikiran jika nama itu lembut, ada sedikit tegas dan yang penting artisan, empunya nama juga akan begitu. Maka aku suka lebih lagi.

Tapi hati manusi tidak boleh diduga. Suka itu menghilang seketika entah ke mana. Mungkin beralih ke pontianak paling agung, atau pembunuh upahan yang boleh melihat geraknya peluru. Mungkin juga terawang tidak ke mana sebenarnya.

Lalu, tadi, ya ketika meter kebosanan hampir mencecah maksima, aku pandang sekeliling. Aku bilang, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, dan 7. Tujuh manusia tertunduk, gelap, hilang dalam dunia sendiri. Aku senyum, pathetic! Aku berlagak. Itu aku, suka berlagak. Walau event ini sebenarnya bukan untuk aku, aku hanya pengganti yang namanya bos, aku harus berlagak juga, jangan tunduk!. Eh, yang tunduk tidur itu bos kah? Malang sekali kan….

Aku capai telefon bijak dan google kesukaan aku dulu. Aku terkasima. Omaigaaaaad! Dia MENULIS! Kenapa aku tidak tahu? Kenapa? Lalu aku maki diri sendiri. Dan, aku pula hilang dalam tulisannya.

Aku bingung bener gimana mau diceritakan pengalaman ini. Kok aku jadi pusing mikirin sibuk, habuk, sumpek, kasian dan jengkel sama anak gelondangan kota Jakarta. Aku udah lama kembali, tapi mungkin ada yang cicir di sana. Rasa-asa yang aneh. Mungkin di teres padi di Puncak, mungkin juga di gerbang pintu Blok B Tanah Abang, atau di pinggan sumbing Bakso Sehat Bakso Atom Thamrin City. Oooh, barangkali juga di ruang pamer toko Gucci. Aduhhh, Jakarta itu macem-macem ya.

Berlibur bersama temen itu kan happy perasaanya. Aku sebenarnya enggak meletak sasaran. Jujurnya hanya mau enjoy dengan mereka. Makanya, bila taksi puter sana sini kesesatan, atau seperti mahu ketabrak, aku cool saja. Ini kan Jakarta.

Buat Ibuk Elina (yaaah, Elina kan lebih seedap), kamu usah ingatin celana jalur itu. Enggak ada rejeki H&D. Mana tahu Pak Supir berterima kasih pada kamu… pahala percuma kan. Ya begitulah….. Libur sekolahnya kemana pulak Buk? Oh, boleh emailin lirik kodok ngorok? Lucu bener!

Embak Azy, kamu cool. Kami cool enggak dimata kamu?. Ingat ya, jika hand carry 10kg atau kurang, maka, boleh di bawa tas kecil. Jika lebih 10kg, enggak boleh bawa tas yang lain, gituuu. Jangan sesal ya, kami suka kok libur dengan kamu. Beetul, ikhlas ni.

Buat Emil, makasih… banyak-banyak!. Bakso yang enak, pentolnya gedei banget!. Dan yang paling aku suka, avocado cream bath! Nyaman sih!. Ada rejeki kita mampir lagi ya. Datang jangan sore, harus pagi, masseur fresh, boleh buat semuanya. Dannn, kebaya itu cantikkk sekali. Pasti mengundang iri. Enggak sabar sih mau di gaya.

Oh, yang ini special sekali, Ibuk Datin Dz dan suaminya Azmarin. Waduh.. kami aja kok repot. Nasi padang segala, batagor saja ya bisa buk. Psst, Ibuk, hutangnya selesai ya, mintak halal. Isin gue sampei minjam rupiah segala. Kerna itu jugak, kelalen mau puter ke monash. Enggak apa lah, ada rejeki kita mampir lagi. Mau ketemu sama Dada semua. Nanti kita ngobrol sampei capek!.

Jakarta itu tergantung dari tiap orang yang merasakannya, karena tiap orang mempunyai pendapat yang berbeda-beda. Ini Indo sebener, repot bener kotanya, macet dimana-mana. Tapi kalau Bandung itu beda, nyaman dan ongkosnya lebih cair.

Ini adalah acara tertangguh. Tiket dibeli ketika ghairah (dgn harga iklan, jgn fikir yang bukan-bukan) dua tahun lepas. Rupanya tarikh jatuh pada hari peperiksaan Chenta. Bila ditukar, jatuh pula dalam minggu terakhir semester. Jatuh dua kali. Tak apa. Berbakul-bakul ~~arahan~~, penerangan, ~~ugutan~~ dan pesanan penaja kepada Gebus. Berbakul juga peringatan kepada Chenta dan diri sendiri agar memahat matlamat lawatan untuk Gebus, semuanya harus mengutamakan Gebus. Gebus sahaja.

Alhamdulillah, Gebus was A VERY GOOD BOY throughout the whole trip. Well, he cried for being denied the premium seat but soon promised to study hard, get good a job with good payment and buy premium seats for us all. *syahdu*. Also, sempat khatam Iqra4 lcct-coolangatta. After that, he khatam Astro Boy and Rio berkali-kali!.

In GC, he behaved well, didn’t seems agitated by the cold weather (alah.. sama suhu aircond bilik tidur). Didn’t complain for he had to eat boring plain/tuna sandwiches or kebabs (sometimes) for bf lunch and dinner. In fact, we didn’t bring his formula milk at all, so he gulped cold fresh strawberry flavored milk bila gian. He woke up smiling no matter how tired he is and ready for the new day. Ada sekali tu, we woke him up at 4.00am! Made him walk to the beach and sat on the cold steps watching the subtle line of lights on the horizon. He said it was beautiful. I wrapped him with my shawl and hugged him tight. It was my favorite and most beautiful moment in GC.

Well, downtown GC itself is rather small, and very commercial, a total opposite of what I have in mind. HRC (which located in the centre on Surfer Paradise) is only few blocks away from the hotel we stayed (Mantra Lagends). So every night we will walk and enjoy the pleasantly cold weather and discover the area. After all, it’s the only area that opens till 9:30pm or later. Don't shop for souvenirs here if you can help it, because the prices were so much more competitive elsewhere, even at up-market Pacific Fair. Tapi kalau dah sale tu layan jek! Can you ignore gisele ipanema sandal for just AUD15? No way!

Harbout Town is good, I personally like it for it has RL and cotton on and reef and halal nandos and labupatch and *takes a breath again* and kooga and many more. Be local and wave Translink Bus Routes 703 or 709, it steers through Ausi Fair shopping complex, Griffith Uni, beautiful housing area and stops at the parking lot. So convenient kan!

The beach, ahh the beach. Sure it was long and went as far as my eye could see, but it was so bare. I don’t know, perhaps it was near winter so there weren’t many people around, hence, it looks naked. The sand: incredibly clean and soft and beautiful I felt like stepping on something virgin = Naked virgin beach!. Sounds dirty huh? Yeah, I found the beach is sexy actually. Sekian terima kasih.

The Park.

Movie World is the first stop on our 2 park pass. Didn’t have to queue at all at ticket counter, and upon entering, there were only few families in front of us. Be early, and friends, take your food, no one checks or cares. Fenat akak wrap egg sandwiches santek-santek. Makcik jaga gate scan our tickets and just waved us in. Sooo unlike Disneyland!. Again, MW is rather a small area BUT Gebus love it (inilah masalah nak compare dgn Disneyland aje). He had a blast watching 4D (ok ok its not 3D its 4D: mummy slalu salah cakap) and riding roller coaster. Layan kan saja. Semangat nak ber batman segala, bila batman depan mata takut nak posing sekali. *tak faham*. Q naik rides x panjang, some tak perlu q pun, yieeha.

Ronda-ronda sampai habis, we end up queuing for Wild West Falls’s ride!. Oh, jangan bayangkan wajah kami yang dicapture oleh camera diorang. It will be our family secret photo!. And Gebus cried when landed and being splashed by gallons of water. He said “tinggi sangat!!”. I hugged him all the way back and can hear his heart thumping like crazy!. Poor boy!. Ye la..ye la.. We are bad parents!. Sebab rasa bersalah, terus bagi pakai t-shirt batman baru.

Bid goodbye early, as by 3pm we pretty much managed to cover everything except batman thrill and superman escape, err tak sampai hati nak pressure jantung. We didn’t even wait for the parade because from my observation, I think, tak semeriah mana. To our surprise, ramai yang balik saing kitorang. We then hoya-hoya @ facific fair:)

Sea World was a different story, worth every cent to see our 5yr boy get excited, curious and exhausted:). Gebus love seeing marine animals and still rave about it. Dolphin show, sesame street beach show, sea lions show and pirate show were major entertaining to Gebus. My favorite would be a huge white polar bear and mr happy feet . Kesian depa, must be lonely.

Tapi tu lah… kecik la tempat nih! Abis show kami tgk, abis xtvt kami join, abis rides kami naik (minus volcano roller coaster and cable car yg closed for maintenance) tgk jam baru pukul 4!!. Kedai pun ada yg dah tutup!.

Overall :
Happy  sebab Iman happy. Ayat standard ‘saya suka duduk sini, boleh duduk  lama-lama tak?’ Ayat buat saya geram ‘sejuk la… *low tone* but no snow’.
Barang mahal (compare dgn melb pulak *tolong jgn menyampah*) fruits pon mahal! *frust*. Halal food/rest is easy to find.
Nak winter tak sejuk mana, sure summer panas gilos.
Should rent a car and travel outside SF. GC is not about SF only, explore out.
Jgn travel before major exam, hati tara senang. *ampun Yang* .
